Privacy

Glimpse Bar collects nothing. Your data never leaves your device.

What's stored

Everything Glimpse Bar stores — your tasks, settings, API tokens, and cached responses — lives in chrome.storage.local on your own machine. We have no servers. There is no Glimpse Bar account.

What we don't collect

  • No analytics or telemetry
  • No browsing history
  • No error reports or usage pings
  • No advertising IDs or fingerprinting

Third-party connections

When you connect a service like GitHub, the extension calls that API directly from your browser using credentials you provide. We are not in the data path. Each service's own privacy policy applies.

Deleting your data

Uninstall the extension. The browser automatically purges all extension storage on removal.

Changes

If anything here changes, we'll update the date above and note it in the release changelog.
